Museum piece

Museum piece

I'm raiding the archives for today's photo. I've had this shot ready for posting for over three years now, but somehow I never got around to putting it online. This was taken at the British Motorshow a few years back, and shows off the intricate nature of the carbon-fibre rear suspension on Honda's then-current F1 car. The title for this shot was chosen because complicated as this bit of kit looks, a) it's been superceded by even cleverer designs now; b) Honda famously quit F1 at the start of 2009, meaning that this car is really a museum piece of corporate hubris now.
