The Fountains
This is another photo that's very similar to a shot I've taken before, but on this occasion I had much more time to experiment with the settings and try different combinations of shutter speed and aperture to capture the Bellagio fountains in the best possible way. This is a long exposure, with the camera on a Gorillapod, balanced on the railings to keep the camera steady. Even so, just touching the camera to change settings made it wobble, so to be absolutely sure the camera was still I used the timer - must buy a remote shutter cable!

- Very very nice shot ...Captures the magic of those fountains beautifully. I'm also glad you mentioned the Gorillapod?¢‚Äû¬¢ - thought I may have committed some horrible photography faux pas in buying you that!
The Chambers @ 10th June 2008 - Also ... nice recoding of this ... am liking the image resizing. Ajax?
The Chambers @ 10th June 2008 - Not Ajax, but jQuery - lots of client-side JavaScripting to do the animation.
