Dusty Italian

Dusty Italian

OK, OK, I promise I won't post any more shots of car badges. In my defence, I couldn't resist posting this for two reasons: I love the dust on the bootlid, and the very long shadow cast by the Ferrari badge is an unusual feature in these kinds of detail photographs. However, I absolutely HATE the lens flare - I did all I could to avoid it when taking the shot (unsuccessfully), and cropping/cloning it out just didn't seem to work.

  • Ooooh, that's cocking gorgeous! The blue highlights in the chrome and the deep reflections almost give a cross-processed feel. I even like the lens flare, it gives the whole thing an oddly 70s California feel.

Can't beat that Michael Bay light :)

  • I really like this one - particularly the detail and shadow of the badge. Great colours too. I also like the lens flare as it adds to the feel of the shot rather than taking anything away from it.

    Nice work!
